Orthodox Christmas in Latvia

February 5th, 2009 by Latvia

From now on the Orthodox Christmas in Latvia will also be a bank holiday. The Latvian parliament “Saeima” approved it on 5th February, 2009. Well, to mostly Russian community that means a better integration into Latvian social and economic life, and to nonbelievers that means two more days to stay at home and enjoy some free time ;)
