Winter snow in Riga

This winter we get a lot of snow, time by time it gets warmer, but overall this winter is a cold one with often snow falling all night.

This is a typical day in Riga, view from Hotel Reval Latvia on park “Esplanāde” with orthodox church.

This week they say weather will get warmer and things will start to melt. But if you want to plan your visit and hate snow, wait until end of March!

I love this shot… I wish I could be there to see this with my own eyes. When I travel next year this is one of the places on my list.
